I completed my undergrad at Michigan State University and completed my masters at MSU as well. My bachelor's degree is in education with a focus in social studies. My master's focus is  technology and learning. I am passionate about MSU and grateful for my experiences in the college of education.

I taught kindergarten at Prevail Academy in Mt. Clemens and Warren Woods, Michigan. I love watching my kindergarten students burst with knowledge every year! Prior to my current teaching position, I subsitute taught in Zionsville, Fishers and Carmel Indiana. I student taught third grade at Averill Elementary in Lansing, Michigan.

In my personal time I enjoy spending time with my family. We love being outside and exploring nature. I love to garden and kayak. I also love to sing, dance and paint. My husband was a ballroom dancer so we like to dance. I have been working on a Disney mural at our family cottage that now has over 150 characters and counting. I also love to read, my favorite series is Harry Potter.
